The longest trip on the Kurrent I did was five days. At the time I still used an additional deck bag, but now I'm now I carry less and lighter gear and may not need it. Carring the bag on the aft deck didn't effect paddling at all but, it would have made re-entry rather difficult. It's better to avoid carrying anything on the aft deck.
Since this posting I have sold the Kurrent and bough a Big Kahuna. I though the original Kurrent skin was too thin and for paddling in our barnacle infested waters. The 2.0 is made with the same material as all the other FC kayaks - much better.
Congratulations on your purchase :)
lotuslanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14472054698225088655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182898230795484848.post-59653758867699316792015-10-13T11:39:08.734-07:002015-10-13T11:39:08.734-07:00thanks for posting. I did this trip with a group of scouts - the only complaint we had was we should have stayed longer.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18000170630857589193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182898230795484848.post-16429504687047309082015-04-27T15:36:28.897-07:002015-04-27T15:36:28.897-07:00Hay, I'm about to buy a new Kurrent 2.0 and wo...Hay, I'm about to buy a new Kurrent 2.0 and wondered how you felt about the storage inside the boat. I was hoping to get maybe at most a three-night trip out of it with 1 night of reserve/emerg supplies. Is this even realistic?

Also - how do you like that sealline drybag on your stern deck? How did it affect paddling?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182898230795484848.post-42143660965444547252012-09-06T10:39:02.870-07:002012-09-06T10:39:02.870-07:00Thanks for your info about the foxglove. Thanks for your info about the foxglove.lotuslanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14472054698225088655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182898230795484848.post-42960234272120723462012-08-30T20:01:45.755-07:002012-08-30T20:01:45.755-07:00Nice post ...
